Peter Fotinos, MD
Dr. Fotinos is deeply committed to his patients, providing them with ongoing, personalized care designed to deliver results. Using bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, his holistic approach concentrates on mitigating the effects that aging has on the body by maintaining optimal, not average, hormone levels.
Prior to joining Revita Anti-Aging Anti-Aging, Dr. Fotinos practiced in urgent care, pediatrics, and family medicine. His experience in these roles fundamentally shaped his philosophy as a physician. He had been immersed in a system focused on getting patients in and out as rapidly as possible, maintaining their health and treating conditions when they got bad enough. Dr. Fotinos concluded that this approach to healthcare was not the future he wanted to live. Instead, he longed for a practice that focused on prevention and afforded him the time needed with patients to address the root causes of their health problems. Moving into his role as Medical Director at Revita Anti-Aging Anti-Aging, Dr. Fotinos was able to make this dream a reality. Shaped by his vision, Revita Anti-Aging offers patients longer appointment times, ongoing treatment plans, and comprehensive, holistic healthcare.
Born and raised in Charlotte, Dr. Fotinos received his Bachelor of Science and Medical degrees from Chapel Hill, before taking up residency at the Carolina Medical Center. Staying close to home has not only allowed Dr. Fotinos to deliver industry-leading bioidentical hormone treatments to the community he came from, it also allows him to do the same for his own family on a regular basis.
Barbara Johnson, MD
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Like most traditional Southern families, we ate lots of whole foods: meats, fresh vegetables, and fruits. Unfortunately, most were fried. We rarely, however, ate fast foods or processed foods. Most of the fruits and vegetables were purchased at the local farmer’s market, freshly picked from the peach trees or tomato vines.
Growing up, I had two main passions (other than horses and Nancy Drew books): ballet and medicine.
I pursued ballet first, and with lots of hard work and dedication, I was offered a position with the Atlanta Ballet. As a dancer, keeping my body in shape was very important. I leaned toward vegetarianism but my weakness was chocolate, which I often ate just before performances.
After five years with the Atlanta Ballet, I went to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and then completed a five year surgery residency at Emory University Hospitals. The quality of my diet deteriorated during the long hours, often after midnight, taking care of trauma patients…lots of dark coffee and Oreos.
After finishing my residency, I moved with my husband and two small girls to the beautiful mountains of Virginia, where I worked as a general surgeon. I specialized in Bariatric Surgery (surgery for obese patients) but after ten years, I decided to take a break. I concentrated on taking care of my two young children, grew fresh vegetables and fruits, and COOKED.
After a few years, I started a youth ballet program and concentrated on health and nutrition. I shifted my interest toward preventive medicine. I found that I loved helping people make smart decisions that enabled them to achieve maximum health and well-being.
My focus now? Working to prevent age-related illnesses. A long, healthy life is possible by making smart and informed decisions about food, exercise, and health.

Craig Larsen, CEO of Revita Anti-Aging Age Management Center, has over 20 years or entrepreneurial experience. Beginning his relationship with Revita Anti-Aging as a patient – seeing first hand the quality service, innovate medical treatments, and real results he was benefiting from – Craig knew he could add value to the organization and became CEO in 2011. Since stepping in as CEO, through his entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision and creative thinking, Craig has continued Revita’s growth as a thriving, nationally acclaimed health clinic.
Before joining Revita Anti-Aging Anti-Aging, Craig achieved great success launching, owning, and operating multiple businesses, ranging from his education-based company LearningStation, to the technology initiative CNP. He had a very successful foray into the banking industry, founding Aquesta Bank, and engineered a business venture in manufacturing, serving as the president of Industrial Timber.
In all of these pursuits Craig led with passion, vision, and strategy. His keen business sense, courage, and foresight enabled him to steer these organizations steadily through times of prosperity and change, to engage employees on a deep, meaningful level, and to satisfy his innate need to create.
It was at this point in his career, Craig discovered that he wasn’t feeling or performing at his best like he used to. He noticed significant changes and researched the best ways to optimize his current health. This is when he discovered Revita. Through the course of Dr. Peter Fotinos’ care, Craig noticed total revitalization in his overall health and performance and knew he wanted to become a part of Revita Anti-Aging in the future.
In 2011, Craig worked closely with Don Nicholas on structuring plans to enhance the Revita Anti-Aging experience and future franchises. During the sad and unfortunate events of the loss of Don Nicholas, Craig supported and managed the company through these difficult times and then later purchased the business. Craig Larsen now serves as CEO of Revita Anti-Aging and continues to be committed to Revita’s success and the overall goal of providing exceptional, executive-level care.
A North Carolina native, Craig graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Accounting and Business.

Donald B. Nicholas Jr.
Donald (Don) B. Nicholas Jr. is the original founder of Revita Anti-Aging Anti-Aging, LLC and The Men’s Clinic Charlotte, LLC. Revita’s mission is to help men and women reclaim lost energy and vigor, sharpen thinking, improve memory, decrease body fat and transition their bodies to more lean muscle. Through our innovative therapies, our patients get better with age: They experience clarity of mind and vitality of body that they last felt years, even decades prior.
Mr. Nicholas had a passion for personal lifelong health and wellness from an early age. Mr. Nicholas continued to stay healthy and fit through such activities as mountain biking, hiking, weightlifting, triathlons, mixed martial arts and yoga. Mr. Nicholas had never planned to be in the medical field until he became a patient of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy himself. Don felt such a tremendous difference and experienced such a dramatic improvement in his own life that he decided this type of medicine was something he wanted to know more about. After significant research, Mr. Nicholas decided to help bring this type of treatment to others.
Born in Westwood, Massachusetts and the eldest of three, Don attended The University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Amherst. Don graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing as with a focus on Exercise Science. Mr. Nicholas was also a college PE instructor while attending the University.
After college, Don worked his way up from an entry-level position to become Director of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic region at a top ten nationwide Staffing Company. In 2001, Mr. Nicholas pushed into the technology sector and became Senior Vice President of a start-up financial software company. That company was successfully built and sold to a publicly traded firm.
Mr. Don Nicholas held memberships in several organizations including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Age Management Medicine Group, The National Business Association, and others. Mr. Nicholas was on the board of both local and national firms. Mr. Nicholas’s Philanthropic associations were the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Don personally paid for the medical care of many less fortunate patients, so they may receive care at Revita. He continued to do so each month in an effort to promote wellness and give back to the community. Don was also a member of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Don will always be remembered as the visionary behind Revita.

Chris is Revitas’ Partnership Coordinator. Revita Anti-Aging is expanding throughout the country. His role is to develop relationships between experienced physicians who desire to practice pro-active BHRT and the business success of Revita Anti-Aging Holdings. His mission is to help build practices where both the patient and the doctor win. Everyday, more data supports the preventative medicine model over the reactive medicine model. Conventional reactive medicine has always held the belief that aging is inevitable and that the progressive deterioration that occurs in our adult years cannot be altered. This is simply not true. 50 years of research in the fields of endocrinology and immunology has vastly improved our understanding of how and why we age. At the same time, the business of medicine is changing. Non-insurance revenue is a growing part of any practices future. Chris shares the Revita Anti-Aging experience and teaches how our model can allow doctors much more time to spend with individuals and genuinely care for their health needs while simultaneously supporting business side of the practice.
Chris brings a totally unique perspective. Previous to Revita Anti-Aging Anti-Aging, he was an Investment Advisor exclusively to physicians in both a large Wells Fargo firm and a private RIA Traverse Partners. Spending the better part of the last decade working closely with physicians, practices, and hospitals, he came to understand the challenges of modern medicine from the doctor’s point of view. He also deeply understands the patient side. An undiagnosed thyroid condition lead to a search for successful treatment which ultimately ended at Revita Anti-Aging!
Chris is a North Carolina native and a 1995 graduate of North Carolina State University.
